The Stone Cutter
This is the stone cutter story, who wants to
become the sun and rise
In order to previal valleys, and illuminate the
mount where he worked
He cursed this star and coveted him, he was
exhausted by the hot weather
His wish was finally granted, he left his
burden to merge with the light
But cloud where here to aspired the heat
They hide his splendour switched off the fire
This dark strenght make the end of his reign
He took the rain road goodbye the sun
Always higher, asking more and more /so he…

Après deux jours de présentation, j'ai modifié l'accrochage. J'ai descendu les tableaux à hauteur d'épaule et placé une chaise devant.
Le spectateur est invité à s'asseoir et donc faire partie du décor, du tableau...
Voici, l'évolution de l'accrochage...une chaise...
puis un siège sans dossier accompagné d'un livre présentant les peintres Italiens et Flamands dont je me suis inspirée...

Au début cet immeuble n'avait que 12 fenêtres (ci-joint) et ma volonté de lui donner une présence dans la salle n'était pas attisée, après deux jours d'exposition j'ai ainsi continué la série qui s'élève à présent à 20 toiles. Le but étant de continuer encore et encore cet immeuble de façon à obtenir un rendu du sol au plafond. Mes modèles de travail sont les immeubles de mon 13ème Parisien où j'ai vécu toute mon enfance et où je prenais un malin plaisir à observer mes voisins. Le film "Fenêtre sur cour" de Hitchcock est donc une référence pour moi et à tout naturellement donné titre à ma série.
